| The Peacock Mantis Shrimp Hemisquilla ensigra (at left) is one of the many colorful southern California marine animals on display at the O.C.C. Public Aquarium (above). The mantis shrimp is a dangerous predator and kills its prey by striking with its unusual, folded front yellow arms. |
