Students in MS180Lab conducting a study of the rocky intertidal zone at Little Corona del Mar. This is one of three field trips that students participate in during the MS 180Lab. Other field trips include: Observation of local marine birds at Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve (a estuary) and Tour of the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and Museum in San Pedro. |

| The Ocean Institute - Dana Point Harbor (above). Just recently enlarged and remodeled, the Ocean Institute is the center (in Orange County) for elementery through high school marine science education.
