  Hours: Sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week.  Admission: Free
    Description of the Pubic Aquarium:  Temporary facilities in Building D 
    now are the home of the O.C.C. Public Aquarium.  Currently are perm-
    nanent building (the Lewis Center) is undergoing a long-awaited
    rennovatgion.  This is due to be completed by July 2008.  At that time
    Marine Science and the Public Aquarium will move back.  The aquarium
    has has existed at O.C.C. for 40 years. Since its inception the Public
    Aquarium has  been a training and educational facility for undergraduate
    marine science students.  A one unit class, Marine Science 120 offers
    students the opportunity to earn college credit as they study the
    science of marine aquariumology.
